Delhi HC Rules MA in Fine Arts Valid for TGT (Art) Posts, Rejects Diploma Holders
The Delhi High Court, led by Justice Prateek Jalan, upheld that MA degrees in Fine Arts meet the essential qualification for TGT (Art) roles in EMRS schools under NESTS. However, diploma holders were deemed ineligible. The judgment clarified that “Degree in Fine Arts” includes postgraduate qualifications under UGC norms.
